White Sox take 2 of 3 against Indians

The White Sox carried the momentum from the end of the Tigers series that ended the home portion of the schedule to take the first game of their series against the Cleveland Indians on Monday by a tally of 6-1.  WIth Tuesday being rained out, the two teams played a day/night doubleheader which started with Indians Manager (and Fort Wayne native) Eric Wedge getting fired.  The First game of the double dip was taken y the Indians by a score of 1-5.  The White Sox came back and took the second game of the double header 1-0.

The White Sox final three games are against the Tigers in Detroit.  These are games that the Tigers need to win.  The White Sox are helping the Twins so far with a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the fifth against the Tigers.  They have two more games with the Tigers on Saturday on Sunday to conclude the season.
