White Sox host Tigers in final home series of the year

After getting swept by the Minnesota Twins, the White Sox welcome the Detroit Tigers to U.S. Cellular Field for the final three games of the season at home. The White Sox trail the Tigers by 9.5 games in the AL Central.  The series starts tongiht with Jake Peavy talking the mound against Tigers’ starter Eddie Bonine.  The Saturday Match up sees the Tigers sending Nate Robinson against Freddy Garcia and in the Sunday afternoon finale Edwin Jackson takes the pill for the Tigers against Daniel Hudson for the Pale Hose.  After the game, the team travels to Cleveland to take on the Indians and then they travel up to Detroit to finish the season at Comerica against the Tigers.
